Sherilyn Brinkley is a Nurse Practitioner Manager and Program Manager of Clinical Services and Research at the Viral Hepatitis Center in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has over 25 years of experience in program management and clinical expertise in the care of persons with hepatitis B, hepatitis C, substance use disorders, and HIV co-infections. Her career has been focused on persons impacted by viral hepatitis and tailoring programs of care as part of the work to eradicate hepatitis C in Baltimore and deliver curative therapies throughout Maryland including development and expert oversight of telemedicine programs to patients in rural communities. She is the author and coauthor of abstracts and publications in the field of viral hepatitis and has presented on the management and delivery of viral hepatitis and HIV clinical care at national medical meetings. She was the recipient of the Hepatitis Hero Award presented by the Maryland Hepatitis Coalition in 2012.
